| Additional Revision Classes/Higher Education Information
We are now into that busy period where exams are almost upon us. Following the popular Easter revision sessions, further classes have been arranged by some departments and details of these are available via the link on our website. The list is continually updated.
Please encourage your son/daughter not only to attend these but to make sure there are no absences from college during this crucial period.

| Easter Revision Classes and Exam Preparation |

We are fast approaching that busy time of the year when our students really focus their energies on planning and revision for the summer examinations.
A number of departments have arranged revision sessions during the Easter Holidays. Details of these will appear on the College Website shortly and are being emailed to all students. We strongly urge you to encourage your son/daughter to attend these if at all possible.
The Easter break is a good opportunity for students to make significant progress in terms of their revision and general planning for the exams.

Lower Sixth Students progressing to the Upper Sixth in September 2012
We are moving into that time of year when many of our students are beginning to think about their future choices.
As you probably know by now, progression from the L6 to the U6 is dependent on a student’s performance during the current academic year.
We obviously want as many of our students to progress as possible and therefore it is vital that students follow the college application procedures carefully. The information below has been emailed to students today.

Despatch of First Half Term Report
Due to technical problems the despatch of the First Half Term Report to Parents/Guardians has been delayed.
We hope to post the report to you during the week beginning 31st October, 2011 (the first week back after Half Term).
We apologise for any inconvenience.
The first Parents’ Consultation Evenings of the year take place on Thursday 10th and Tuesday 15th November and students have been given information about the evenings by email and also via their Personal Tutor.

Half Term Reports
Every Half Term we send parents/guardians a Half Term Report. This indicates to both parent/guardians and students how the student’s Subject Tutors feel students are performing. It also gives information on attendance and punctuality. You should receive this sometime during the October Half Term break. If you do not, please contact the Main Office at the College (01708 514 400)

Tuesday 4th October - Non-Teaching Day
Tuesday 4th October is a College Staff Development Day and there will be no teaching.
Students will be asked to use the day for independent work at home.
For those students wishing to use College facilities the Newcourt Study Space and Learning Services area (120 study space) will be open as usual.
