The College Council is a college body. It is made up of student representatives, from every tutor group, and a limited number of staff representatives. |

The Council meets every half term to discuss the views of students on a wide range of issues. The agendas of Council meetings can be drawn from the student body or from staff including Senior Management (known as The Executive). |

The student body elects an executive team, the chair and vice chairperson, the treasurer and secretary and any committees e.g. the Catering, Charity and Sports Committee. |

A member of the College Senior Management team attends the meetings to provide a management view to help resolve issues. If this is not possible then items/proposals can be made to the Senior Management team. |

Representatives of the student body attend meetings of the College Governing Body and key consultative and decision making meetings e.g. the College Body and key consultative and decision making meetings e.g. the college Board to provide a student view on a number of important issues. |
