Student Success in 2010

Fantastic achievement for students at Havering Sixth Form College
I am delighted with the A Level pass rate of 98% this year. This is another year of fantastic results. 39 students have achieved at least 3 A* or A grades, with 10 of these achieving 4 A* or A grades. The A*, A & B pass rate is 41.5%.
These results are due to hard work, a love of learning and genuine commitment from young people, teachers and support staff in the College. Our students will be well placed, in these difficult times, to progress to good universities and relevant employment opportunities.
It is very encouraging that the fantastic learning that has taken place in College this year has been rewarded by such excellent results.
Havering Sixth Form College has a very broad curriculum and welcomes students of all abilities. To see so many students achieving such good results on a variety of learning programmes is truly inspiring.
