Student SupportDisability StatementThe College recognises that it has clear obligations towards all its students to ensure that they are all afforded the opportunity to realise their full potential. The College tries to anticipate the needs of all students who join College with a disability, or who develop a disability, physical or mental, during their course of study. The aim is that no one should be disadvantaged in any way. If you have a disability, or have special requirements, please inform us as soon as possible. This can be done on your written application or at your Year 11 interview. We rely on you to tell us what you need. This will give us time to check that we can meet your needs or, if not, to make sure that suitable provision is in place by the time you arrive in September. Once you are a College student you should keep your Personal Tutor informed as to whether what we are providing is appropriate. A termly review of your needs will be held. The Assistant Principal,John Davis is the senior manager responsible for ensuring that our provision meets your needs. John will make you aware of any further support which might be available to you. |
