The Sixth Form has a very welcoming environment and is very tidy too. The teachers & tutors are also very willing to help you with any matters. I feel the Learning Zone particularly is a very beneficial part of the Sixth Form, being a very helpful place, with a friendly and cosy atmosphere. I personally found it very nice to have teachers ready to help, and even one to one time if you are stuck on work, or need advice on how to draft an essay for example.

"College is great, it's very different to secondary school in many aspects; you get to wear what you want, address the teachers by their first names and all of your subjects that you choose are ones that you want to study and are interested in, so you'll never get bored. Settling in is not as scary as people seem to think it is, everyone is on the same boat and you will make friends very easily and the wonderful atmosphere really helps too. I found it easy to settle into college because of the helpful and friendly atmosphere. Unfortunately, because of certain things, I didn’t do too well at the end of AS so until then I hadn’t made full use of the Learning Zone, but as soon as I entered A2, I made it a regular thing to go to the Learning Zone both on my own and with my peer mentor. I found this very helpful and I only wish I’d started earlier. The college is so diverse with its culture as well as its wide range of subjects and offers great opportunities to everyone. It’s a fun and safe environment where you can be comfortable and have a great learning environment. Make use of all the available help and resources!
