Marvin Muoneké

Marvin Muoneké was a big hit on the TV show Britain's Got Talent, reaching the live semi-finals in June 2018 with his singing partner Dennis DeMille.

The pair, originally singing as the Ratpackers and then as DeMille and Muoneké, won the hearts of the audience and the judges with their rendition of New York, New York in the audition stages.

Then in the last live semi-final show, they were praised by judge Simon Cowell and also superstar Robbie Williams who was in the audience that night. They brought the house down with their number That's Life but did not make it through to the final.

Marvin had previously appeared on BBC1's The Voice in 2016 and although the chairs did not turn for him, he sang well and his voice and personality were praised by all on the programme.

Marvin, who left College in 2014 after studying Extended Project Qualification, Music Technology and Moving Image Arts, went on to study for a degree in Music at Weston College, Somerset.

He is a former student of Kingsford Community School and was a firm favourite in the Havering Sixth Form College Jazz Band. While playing for the Jazz Band in a concert one evening, he was talent spotted by the National Youth Jazz Orchestra and became a regular, playing gigs up and down the country with them.

He performed in a national touring show called Magic of the Musicals with a cast of stars from the West End, including Julie Atherton, who played in Avenue Q and Sister Act The Musical.
