Admissions Cycle
Everything you need to know about applying:
1 - Attend an event at your school
September onwards
The College attends information evenings, assemblies, careers fairs, parents’ evenings and workshops at schools in Havering and surrounding boroughs.
2 - Subject research and selecting your course
October onwards
Please fully research our courses, entry requirements, subject content and general information here
3 - Open Events
October/November onwards
This is an opportunity to visit the College campuses, meet our staff and students, view our facilities and find out more about the courses that we offer. Read more about our Open Events here
4 - Completing your online application
November onwards
Make your application on our website. Please do not rush, ensure you have researched first as it is important that you choose a course that will suit you, your abilities and your future career aims.
Please note that courses can always be changed as part of the interview process.
5 - Interviews
January onwards
Interviews will be conducted at College and will provide you with comprehensive IAG (Information, Advice and Guidance) to ensure that you are choosing the right course for you. Parents/Guardians are welcome to attend with you, but they do not have to.
6 - GCSE Exams
May/June
After your interview you will be studying hard for your GCSEs. We are available to speak to or email if you have any questions or queries at this time regarding your application. To contact Admissions call on 0330 135 8000 or email info@ncclondon.ac.uk.
7 - Freshers
June
During our Freshers’ Days you will be able to sample taster lessons in your chosen courses as well as in other subjects that may be of interest to you. Freshers will also give you an opportunity to experience the friendly College atmosphere, look around our campus facilities and meet some of our teachers.
8 - Exam Results
August
GCSE Results Day is on Thursday 20th August 2020
You do not need to bring your results in to College on this day.
If you have not achieved the required grades for the course/s you have chosen, or if you wish to change your course, you may discuss alternative options during your enrolment interview.

9 - Enrolment
Late August/Early September
You and your parents/guardians will be invited to book an interview at the College to confirm your enrolment. This should take between 40 and 60 minutes.
If you have applied to the Sixth Form and are unable to attend Enrolment because of a prior commitment, you can still be enrolled in your absence if you have achieved the required grades, as long as you have informed us in writing stating the courses you wish to study and have provided us with copies of your GCSE results (via email or by hand). You must attend an alternative enrolment interview to sign paperwork as soon as you are available.
If you have applied to Ardleigh Green or Rainham and cannot attend your Enrolment, you must call the College Admissions team and attend to enrol as soon as you are available.
If you have not achieved the required grades for the courses you have chosen, you must attend enrolment to discuss alternative course options.
10 - Induction
Early September
Induction marks the start of your studies.
During Induction, you will collect your timetable and your ID card, you will have an IT induction where you will be given system login details and you will have a meeting with a coach
