How to Find Ardleigh Green

Travel by tube

The nearest tube station to the Ardleigh Green is Hornchurch on the District Line.

On exiting the station, take the 256 bus towards Noak Hill and alight at Havering College (approx. 20 minutes bus ride from the station).

This tube stop is in zone 6.

The 256 and 294 bus routes stop close to the Ardleigh Green

Travel by train

1.     The nearest mainline station to the Ardleigh Green is Gidea Park on TFL Rail / Elizabeth Line.

On exiting the station via the Ticket Office entranceturn left and the College is about a 15 minute walk from the station. Alternatively, the 294 bus from outside the station will take you to Ardleigh Green Road (3 stops).

This station is in zone 6.

2.     The Emerson Park Overground branch line from Upminster and Romford is just over 1mile from the College.

On exiting the stationturn right and the College is about a 15 minute walk from the station. Alternatively, the 256 bus from opposite the station will take you to Ardleigh Green Road (3 stops).

Travel by bike

The College encourages staff and students to cycle to the College by providing cycle racks, showering and changing facilities.

Travel by car

The Campus is approximately three miles from M25 junction 28 and 29.

From the A127:

  • Exit the A127 at Ardleigh Green Road
  • The college campus is situated on the left hand side after 0.5 miles

How to Find Sixth Form

Travel by tube

The nearest tube station to the College is Upminster Bridge on the District Line.

On exiting the station, turn left and the College is about a five minute walk from the station.

This tube stop is in zone 6.

Travel by bus

A number of buses stop very close to Havering Sixth Form.

These include:

Upminster mainline station is within one mile of the College.

Travel by car

From M25,

  • exit Junction 29 onto A127 heading towards London.
  • After 2.1 miles take left exit onto Wingleye Lane.
  • After 1.6 miles the college is located on the left.

How to Find Rainham

Travel by tube

The nearest tube station to the Rainham is Elm Park on the District Line.

On exiting the station, cross the road and take the 165 bus towards Rainham and alight at New Road (approx. 10 -15 minutes bus ride from the station).

This tube stop is in zone 6.

Travel by bus

A number of buses stop very close to the Rainham Campus: 165, 287, 372 and 103.

 

Travel by train

Rainham mainline station (C2C) is within one mile of the College.

Travel by bike

The College encourages staff and students to cycle to the College by providing cycle racks, showering and changing facilities.

Travel by car

We are located on New Road, Rainham, RM13 8GP.

From the A13:

  • Take the Ferry Lane exit – follow directions for Ferry Lane North. The road bears left onto Lansom Road
  • At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the B1335.
  • At the next roundabout take the first exit onto New Road.
  • The college campus is situated on the left hand side.
