Life at College

Summer Term

The last few weeks of the summer term sees a number of activities taking place at the College.

Monday 24th June to Wednesday 26th June end of year exams will take place. Your son/daughter has their timetable and should have planned their revision accordingly. These exams are very important as the results will be used by teachers to predict grades for A Level results next year.

The deadline for many assignments on BTEC programmes is also during the next two weeks. Please be aware that this period can, for some students, be very pressurised as they amend assignments to achieve the highest grades.

On Friday 28th June is the HE/Careers Day. All lower Sixth students are expected to attend this valuable and exciting event. The day begins at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 3:15p.m. We have asked that students arrive promptly.

Enrolment for our current Lower 6th begins on the 19th August. If your son/daughter has not already booked an enrolment meeting can you please encourage them to do so.

The end of term is Friday 12th July

Once again can I ask that you encourage your son/daughter to focus on their studies but also make sure they have a balanced lifestyle, eating and sleeping properly and having some “down time”.

Kind regards
Paul Wakeling
Principal
